CONGRATS – Whittier Elementary School Kindness Club!
Student Services staff wrote and received a DPI AODA mini-grant. The goal of this grant was to decrease bullying type behaviors at Whittier. Student services staff formed a 5th-grade kindness club.
The Spiderman is always a crowd favorite.
Students lead a variety of activities throughout the school to promote acts of kindness.
As part of this grant, Pro BMX Biker Matt Wilhelm came this week to present on perseverance, finding your passion, and standing up to bullying.
Kindness club members are looking forward to carrying out his powerful message through the remainder of the school year!
