People from around the globe tuned in to watch Matt Wilhelm set a Guinness World Record on Wednesday September 21st 2016. Guinness World Records flew to Chicago to adjudicate Matt Wilhelm’s record for the most BMX fire hydrant whips in 30 seconds.
The world record aired live on the Guinness World Records Facebook page. Matt successfully executed 44 fire hydrant whips in 30 seconds, beating the minimum requirement of 15.
Matt Wilhelm has won three X Games medals and silver and bronze medals from the World Championships. He now has a Guinness World Record to add to his resume.
